Fast Food Customer Service

I have to say that customer service in the fast food world hasn’t seem to change, especially McDonalds.  I don’t know if it’s because they higher mostly teenagers or what but the staff is always rude, slow, or just plain stupid.  I’ve encountered more trainees who have no clue what they’re doing and smart a$$ teenagers that roll their eyes or give attitude.  I think that since Mickey D’s is such a huge franchise, they must not feel it’s of importance to train they’re employees to be more polite and knowledgeable on the register before throwing them out there.

Having worked at Mickey D’s, I know that first hand.  I remember getting the breakfast shift for the first time.  I didn’t have a clue what was on the menu or where the buttons were and yet they through me to pack of wolves like it was nothing.  I was slow and got orders wrong.  Was it my fault?  Yes and no.  I think I needed more training but they don’t do much of that unless you are a manager.

Anyways, I just had to get that small little bit off my chest.  I hate rudeness and when I encounter it in the fast food chains, I turn it in on the spot!
