Preparing for the Inevitable
222 Words By Lori on Feb 27, 2008We aren’t getting any younger and sometimes there are things that just have to be done. We were going through our financial papers and what we own to see if it’s all updated. We have 3 kids to think about after-all. We can’t just leave a mess of financial worries for them manage. My husband hates talking about this kind of stuff so when it was time to discuss our life insurance policies, he clammed up like a shell. He knows it’s important but it’s just one of those subjects he hates to discuss. Anyways, we did go over them and things seem to be in order. Whew! I’m glad we don’t have to talk about that for awhile but at least we know each other and the kids will be taken care of.
I also had to get my receipt folder ready for a new year of receipts for next year’s taxes. I love organization but really need some new ways to get organized. I’ve got too many folders with who knows what! Ah, where’s Suze Orman when you need her? I could use her and Martha Stewart to get me all fixed up!
I’m off to wash clothes. I’m tired with a sick kid to tend to and 15mth old spitting milk on my floor. I guess I better get off this computer!
