My husband’s birthday is coming up soon.  I don’t know what to buy him this year at all.  Usually I can think of something but this year I’m just…well….clueless.  I thought about something simple like a watch but I don’t know what kind he would like.  As nice as those Rolex Submariner watches are, I think it’s a bit too fancy for him.  He’s likely to lose it when he’s working cattle or something. 

I’m also considering a jeweler’s ball vise for his engraving that he does on the bits, buckles, and spurs.  Those are expensive but it’s more of a necessity than a luxury. 

The last thing I thought of, was a gun.  He’s always wanted a Winchester 30/30 lever action, 1964.  Oh man, how he would love that!  Those are super hard to find though.  Arrgghh, I guess I’ll just have to think about it some more.

Isn’t funny how we try so hard to think of something for them and they don’t even give our gift a second thought?…at least most of the time anyways.
