We don’t do vacations but we know tons of people who do and Corpus Christi is a hot place because of the shopping.  Obviously it’s close to the water as well and that makes it appealing for many.  While some may rent, others buy Corpus Christi real estate so they can go back every year. 

We have some family members that go there 3 times a year.  Once before school to shop, in the summer for fun, and around January for some kind of trade shows that held at that time.  They probably need to invest in a home there or something as much as they go.
