When my husband started building bits and spurs, we invested about $2500.  We’ve made all that back and then some but we’re also still buying stuff.  We’ve already purchased the air tools, welding supplies, and metal but we are constantly still buying silver.  Brass and copper are popular as well but not as popular as silver. 

I guess it’s just like with any other hobby, you’re gonna have to keep buying in order to keep making.  Luckily we make waaaay more than we spend these days so it all works out.
