Creating a Safer Buying Option
228 Words By Lori on Jul 27, 2008In the last 6mths, I have read about more people getting their information stolen. We can’t really protect ourselves 100% but there are things we can do like keep our financial information private! When you make an online purchase, what’s the first thing you’re required to do at checkout? Enter your address and credit card info. BAM! Spammers and hackers are just waiting for that perfect opportunity for your computer to be unsafe for only seconds. It’s absolutely essential to NOT give out your credit card info when making an online purchase and that’s were eBillme comes in.
Ebillme offers you a safe solution to this, making it so that you never have to give out your cc info again.
Once you have added eBillme to your online bill pay, you simply checkout using the eBillme option and click purchase. eBillme will then send you an invoice of your purchase amount, you log into your online banking center and pay your bill. You pay cash (sort of) and no-one knows your credit card information. LOVE IT!
During checkout at Tiger Direct, I chose eBillme as my payment option in the dropdown menu. See below:

After receiving my invoice, I logged in and payed the amount under my bill pay tab to eBillme. Easy as pie folks and safe!!!
