I work for a Doctor and just finished this exact conversation with a patient. Now, I don’t have insurance at all and we don’t qualify for medicaid because we make too much, so I know what you’re saying.

However, on the other hand, health care COSTS, but you have to look at the whole picture. Think of what those doctors spent on med school, licenses, continuing ed, different types of insurance, etc. Then there are overhead expenses for running their practices, paying nurses, paying me, etc.

I am not defending doctors and hospitals, I do believe they charge too much, but now the prices are somewhat justified in my mind.

Now, the price of gas & diesel, that is another story - someone justify those prices to me, please.

I dream of someplace else too - I’m also in West Texas…..so I would love to live in a place that is greener, naturally, where hydrangeas and peonies would flourish without too much interference from me. A place with lots of trees. And not a lot of snow. Not sure where that place is. I could live in the mountains if I didn’t have to winter there. I’d like a house large enough for our family to have “the pretty living room”, the “lived in” family room, a movie room for my hubby and a large craft studio for me!! And a bubble jet tub!
Gee, I sure know how to dream!

yeah i can see us both getting in trouble for talking smack to the bouncers.

hell…i would probably throw in there that my husband is big and tall and probably stronger. yeah..we would have to run after that. LOL ;)
